Toyota Corolla 2017 – Now Even More Stylish & Eye-Catching!

Can you believe it’s already 3 years since the world’s favourite sedan, the Toyota Corolla was re-imagined and re-designed? I can still remember the launch held at our Prospecton branch in 2014. Needless to say, it was one of Toyota’s and our biggest model launches in recent times.
Well I'll resist the temptation to say - the 2017 Corolla is even better, stylish and feature-packed than before (but it really is) - so let me just say, it received a gentle makeover.
And it looks awesome! Just look at these 'Ferrari-styled' air-intakes 🙂
Corolla 2017 - New Grille With Vents for Airflow
While you're there - notice the new headlight design as well. The chrome strip has been integrated to flow nicely right to the end of the headlights. Not only that - but the entire design of the actual lights has been revamped. In many ways, it resembles the look also found on the latest RAV.
Exclusive models get bi-beam LED lights, while the rest get independent low & high halogen lights.
On a subtler note, the side profile has also been tinkered with - giving the entire side a strong, sporty stance. Kudos to you if you notice the subtle change.

Moving around to the back - there's been some nice touches added here too. The chrome strip from the centre of the boot lid, stretches all the way through the rear lamps as well, adding to the flowing design of the car. And while the majority of the range has regular halogen lights - the 1.8 Prestige & Exclusive models now have LED combination lamps.

Step Inside the Comfort Zone
There's a number of upgrades inside the car. The piano black & satin trim has been refreshed with new styling. Prestige & Exclusive models now come with an all-new 7-inch touch screen multimedia system, which also displays the rear-view camera when reversing.
The climate control system (Exclusive models) has been revised too. Gone are the old round dials, replaced with chrome-trimmed toggles for ease of use. Even the LED screen is new, now with a refreshing blue illumination.

I can't possibly cover each and every change - or this blog post will start resembling Wikipedia 🙂
There are other changes like the steering wheel and the speedo console. (Exclusive models now have a 4.2 inch colour multi-information display)
Notably - all models from the 1.6 Esteem upwards now include standard safety upgrades:
• Vehicle Stability Control
• Hill Start Assist Control
• Emergency Brake Signal
• Rear Seatbelt Lamp & Buzzer
And from the 1.6 Prestige upwards, you will now get cruise control standard!
