1966 saw the birth of the very first Corolla (Crown of Flowers). Led by development leader, Tatsuo Hasegwa, the Corolla designers set out to design a car that would capture the hearts of the general public. 47 years, 11 generations, and 40 million units later, the Corolla has broken all records on the way to becoming the best-selling model of all time. I think the original designers of the Corolla, can rest at ease, that our hearts have indeedbeen captured.
2014 brings the 11th generation Corolla into our world with a bang. The launch of this latest model, introduces new dynamic exterior styling, premium interior finish, and the legendary Corolla reliability and quality. Join us as we explore this iconic car in more detail.

Prices haven’t officially been confirmed yet. But the range should include a 1.3, 1.4 Diesel. 1.6 with CVT option, and 1.8 with CVT option. Launch date can be expected around FEB 2014.
From the information available to us thus far – it seems only the 1.8 Exclusive & 1.8 Exclusive Multidrive S, will come standard with Cruise Control. Other than that, if you require it on another model, it can be added as an after-market accessory.
I was looking at the new Corolla specification on the web and the brochure. Is it a mistake or will the 1.6 Sprinter not have the reverse monitor and the Display Audio/DVD as in the 1.6 Prestige?
Yes I have checked up on this – and you are quite correct. The Prestige Model comes with the Reverse Cam, And Display Touch Screen system, and not the Sprinter.
The pictures of the new corolla on your website shows that the car has daytime running lights. I have purchased the top of the range corolla I am disappointed that the car doesn’t have this feature, and is not available as an optional extra.
Thanks for reaching out. This blog post was done quite some time before the local Corolla launch. That’s one of the reasons, we had this note at the end.

Unfortunately at this stage, our SA edition indeed does not come with Daytime Running Lights. Sorry, we as a dealer cannot do anything except provide feedback to Toyota. You are also welcome to raise your concerns with Toyota SA via their website, or through the dealer that you purchased your Corolla from.
Thanks!
What will the prices be like on the new corolla?

How to place an order online?
Hi Leah, if you can please call or email through your details, we can take it from there.
Thanks!
Can you confirm that cruise control will again be available only on the top 1.8 exclusive models and not as an option on the other models?
