This dude is from back in the day when men were for real, smoked Marlboro cigarettes, and had hair on their chests. His name is Kei Miura, and he hails from Osaka, Japan. He learnt his trade in the toe-geh (mountain passes) of Japan. The same way legendary drift-king, Keiichi Tsuchiya mastered his drifting skills. One can see what makes these Japanese racers so good – Kei’s raw passion for cars, and motorsport is oozing through in this video.
He takes an American edition of the 86 – called FR-S, which incidentally is also left-hand drive, and using CAD technology, which is not common in the industry, transforms it into a stunning retro-looking racer. I love the flared fenders, and the huge rear wing. This is a seriously professional looking customized 86. Wow!
