Like really really. Yes we all know it’s the most sold car in the history. It’s also the most reliable sedan ever manufactured anywhere in the world.
But do we really know this car we love so much named the Corolla?
You’ve seen the TV ads. You’ve seen the Facebook posts and the Instagram collages. You have seen the Corolla featured on billboards and some of you even attended the launch we had for it in February of 2014. But how well have you been able to get acquainted with this engineering masterpiece? This is the question we will attempt to answer.

We, the sellers of the brand Toyota, are really proud of the all-new Corolla with its bold and distinctive design, that we made it the centre of our attention. We think you will too. Our Pride and Joy
Love the drive in our pride and joy with an engine that’s just right for you. Every model in the all-new Corolla range delivers the ultimate in driving enjoyment. The newly adopted Multidrive S* transmission offers better fuel efficiency and more responsive gear changes. The MacPherson front suspension and Torsion beam rear suspension have been refined to achieve a sporty and dynamic drive. Choose from a 1.3 litre, 1.6 litre or the all-new1.8 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engines. The 1.3 litre Corolla engine puts out an impressive 73kw of power at 6000r/min and torque of 128 Nm at 3800r/min and is available in a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.6 litre engine boasts 90kw of power at 6000r/min and 154 Nm of torque at 5200r/min with an option of either a 6-speed manual transmission or multidrive S automatic. The powerful 1.8 litre engine sports 103kw of power at 6400 r/min and 173 Nm of torque at 4000 r/min with an option of either a 6-speed manual transmission or multidrive S automatic. For the diesel lovers , the brand new 1.4 litre diesel engine produces 66kw of power at 3800r/min and torque of 205Nm at 1800-2800r/m with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Feast your eyes on the stylish, sleek design of the all-new Corolla. The bold style starts with the 3D layout of the headlamps and finishes beautifully with the aero stabilising fins, which assist with aerodynamics and the flow of air along the vehicle. Crisp design lines run from front to the back resulting in a contemporary look. Refined details like the assertive lower grille, front fog lamps, colour-coded electronically adjustable exterior mirrors, 16” alloy wheels* and chrome to luggage door garnish accentuate the sophisticated, striking style of the Corolla. The sporty 1.6 sprinter model is also fitted with a rear spoiler.
We’ve also cast a scientific eye at the body of the Corolla. The wheel base has been extended by 100mm, creating added rear seating space and rear legroom (best in class) and the overall, height has been reduced by 5mm to further enhance aerodynamics and lower the centre of gravity to improve handling. We continued this throughout form and function to create a vehicle that will hijack your attention.

With the new design of the all-new Corolla, we made sure it delivers the ultimate in comfort and functionality that you expect from a high-end sedan. With leather seats and an automatic air conditioner, you may never want to leave the ultra-comfortable interior of your new Corolla. It also features a display audio, 6 speakers and a DVD player that will keep you entertained, the audio jack and its USB port allow you to listen to your favourite music whilst on the road. Bluetooth and the multi-information display (MD) can be controlled by using the newly designed switches on the steering wheel.
WE TAKE PRIDE IN OUR SAFETY STANDARDS
We take safety very seriously. That is why when we designed the body of the new Corolla we considered more than just looks. The impact absorbing body structure will help you and your passengers in the event of a collision. We’ve spared nothing when it comes to safety features on the new-Corolla. Electronic Brake-force distribution(EBD)minimises stopping distances by shifting more braking pressure to the wheels with most grip keeping the Corollas more stable and balanced, with braking. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) monitors the speed of each wheel to detect locking and releases braking pressure and provides optimum braking pressure to each wheel improving steering control during sudden stops. Brake Assist System (BAS) detects attempted panic stops and supports you by strengthening braking power. This helps you brake in case of an emergency, when you need to the most. If you ever lose traction vehicle stability control (VSC) automatically applies braking power to all four individual wheels and reduces engine power to prevent the wheels from slipping sideways when cornering. Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) makes sure that you take off smoothly on an incline and is available on the 1.6 sprinter and all 1.8 exclusive models. Passive safety features such as airbags for the driver, front passenger and side are standard on all models with additional driver knee and curtain shield airbags on the 1.6 sprinter and 1.8 exclusive. To assist you when reversing, the back monitor helps by giving you a view of what is behind you. This feature is especially useful when parking in tight spots. To keep your pride and joy safe and secure, we have equipped the Corolla with an immobiliser and alarm on all models. A smart entry system, follow me home lighting control system, child lock on the rear doors, 150 Fix seatbelt anchor and a wireless door lock.
